We are passionate about dance at Aspire Dance Company. Our dance studio offers RAD Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, and Acro classes taught by highly trained and qualified teachers. We believe in fostering each child's individuality and love of dance.

Meet Our Team

Elise McKinnon

Miss Elise, Director of Aspire Dance Company has been teaching for 15 years. She started her dance journey with Accent on Dance when she was 8 years old, training in Royal Academy of Dance Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop. Miss Elise has completed all RAD exams to Advanced 1 and has performed with AOD at Disneyland and countless Eisteddfods and Festivals. Miss Elise attended Newtown Performing Arts High School for her senior years, completing her HSC, where she received a Band 6 Majoring in Dance and HSC Call Backs for Core Composition (choreography). During Year 12 she travelled to America with NPAHS, performing on stage and attending workshops at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, NYC, Martha Graham Dance Company, NYC, and many more. Miss Elise’s Tertiary training was at Brent St, attending their Full-Time Performing Arts course, where she performed and participated in workshops at Pulse Dance Festival, Las Vegas, USA, gaining a certificate IV in performing arts. The next year, she moved to New York City, USA, training at Broadway Dance Centre, receiving an International Certificate of Studies.

Peta Gray

Peta started her dance career at the age of 5 years when she attended her first Ballet lesson with Lynette Denny in Mackay Queensland, during her years as a student of Warralong Dance Studio Peta was fortunate to receive training from many wonderful tutors…Kathleen Gorham, Francois Klaus, Robyn White & Shirley Treacy to name a few. Peta is trained in all genre of dance and loved the excitement of competition as a young student. Peta is a Life Member and Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and has been Principal of Accent on Dance for the past 30 years, during this time Peta has tutored & mentored many young dancers & teachers. Past students have gone on to pursue careers in performance and teaching.

Serving as Chairperson & Dance Convenor of Hawkesbury City Eisteddfod for over 30 years, Peta is dedicated to developing & encouraging young dancers. In 2017 Peta was recognised by her community when she was awarded the Australia Day Community Arts Award by Hawkesbury City Council.

During her teaching career Peta has been Chairperson of the Royal Academy of Dance Regional Advisory Panel where she enjoyed the opportunity of supporting other teachers & encouraging young talented dancers. Peta is a professional choreographer & during her time on the panel she enjoyed the opportunity of staging the Isobel Anderson Awards Finals & being involved in the organisation of many Dance events. In July 2017, Darcy Bussell presented Peta with The Royal Academy of Dance Presidents Award in recognition of her years of service to the Academy.

Peta is passionate about dance and has organised performance tours for her students travelling on four different occasions to the USA to participate in workshops & performances at Disneyland & also at Universal Studios.

In her role as an adjudicator, Peta imparts knowledge & critique in a kind & caring manner, ensuring that each competitor is given helpful advice & positive feedback.

Peta continues to fulfil her love of dance & encouragement of our young dancers.

Georgia Nutman

Georgia has developed a strong passion for performing and teaching over the years. She is trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical & Contemporary.

Georgia studied and achieved her Diploma in Performing Arts at ED5 International. After graduating she signed with renowned agency Jeep Management and has worked amongst the biggest names in the Sydney dance scene.  

Her credits include The Squared Division, Guy Sebastian, The XFactor, The Voice, Dance Boss, Samantha Jade, The Boy From OZ (Musical), Long Way to the Top Australian Tour, Sneaky Sound System, Debora Cox, PACHA Sydney, Sam Powers Illusionist, Marcia Hines and Russell Crowe. She finds time for the small screen and has featured in TVC’s for Bonds, The Bachelor, Powerball, Rebel Sport, Kmart, U by Kotex, Hungry Jacks and Ministry of Sound. Georgia has also performed overseas with contracts in Macau, Hong Kong and Paris. Her contract at Hong Kong Disneyland furthered her training as she learnt a variety of aerialist skills and performed in challenging shows. She strives to push herself as a performer, choreographer and teacher.    

Georgia loves sharing her knowledge and cannot wait to work with the students of Aspire Dance Co.


Kiera Braund

Kiera started dancing when she was 3 and continued to dance until she was 16. She is trained in Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Acro, and Aerial Hoops/Silks. Kiera started her journey of teaching last year and is known around the studio as someone who will always lend a hand if needed. Her love of dance and compassion for students shines in the classroom, as she takes pride in seeing her students learn new things and gain confidence.

Naomi Kibblewhite

Naomi began dancing at a young age and training in various styles of Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, and Acrobatics. She has been dancing at Accent on Dance since she was 14 and competed in various eistedfods and festivals. Finishing high school in 2018, Naomi completed her HSC majoring in Dance Performance and is currently completing her ADTA Acrobatics Dance qualification.

Mia Dacey

Mia began dancing at the age of 4 and was a student at Accent on Dance for 12 years. She has completed her RAD graded exams up until Intermediate, performed at countless eisteddfods and festivals. Mia dedicated herself to completing her HSC Dance travelling to Colo High School, whilst being a student at Windsor High School. Mia is a new teacher and her passion for helping students grow their love of dance shines within the classroom.
